Gigaba neutral on Magaqa apology

Public Enterprises Minister Malusi Gigaba will wait to hear from the ANC's disciplinary committee before reacting to the apology from youth league member Sindiso Magaqa, his spokesman said on Sunday.
“It's too early for us to be at the stage where we are accepting apologies... it's something that will come if the NDC feels that they are happy,” Mayihlome Tshwete said, referring to the ANC's national disciplinary committee.
“We need to let the NDC go through the processes before we can comment.”
Magaqa, the youth league's secretary general, would have been suspended from the party for three years if he had not apologised for accusing Gigaba of “pleasing imperialists”, and sowing division in the organisation during a running debate on nationalisation.
In his apology to Gigaba, released in a statement on Saturday, Magaqa said: “I... would like to apologise to Minister Malusi Gigaba unreservedly and unconditionally.”
He was charged together with ANCYL president Julius Malema and spokesman Floyd Shivambu. Malema was expelled from the ANC and Shivambu's membership suspended for three years. - Sapa
